If you were to meet someone who went through a childhood experience like Ishmael did (child soldier or equal), how would you expect them to be as an adult? What personality traits may they have?
Possibly be either a person who is rough towards all people as an act of revenge, or they realize what it is and teach others around them morals about life.
I would expect them not to talk about their experience because it was obviously a traumatic one, and some traits I think they would have would resemble those of PTSD sufferers. Like being anxious, neuroticism, and being somewhat reclusive.
They would probably be really messed up and kind of detached and closed off from the rest of the world. I would also expect them to be very untrustworthy and cold.
Very hard to get close to and maybe hostile if you get to close. May put on a strong happy go lucky front, but still remember the events that happened to them and appear to be in their own world when they flash back.
brave, honest, detailing, independent, reliable, determined, good with artillery,
ReplyDeleteI would expect them to be very independent, maybe some type of depression, like PTSD, and very brave and willing to help others.
ReplyDeleteI think they would be smart and weary about what they say, they would act as if they are alright but they wouldn't be.
