It's a fight between government and civilians. Blacks think that they are always picked on and they are using someones death as a purpose to fight against it.
The protesters in Baltimore are like the rebels in A Long Way Gone, they both were trying to prove a point, but they are trying to prove their points in the wrong ways.
They are promoting their cause by violence and any who oppose will be hurt in the process. They are destroying anything in their paths that reminds them of the enemy and say they want peace but don't present it themselves. They take help from all ages and may even get high and drunk on drugs before the events. They appose the law and authorities and are violent towards them.
